Project: one-bedroom apartment of 50 m2 in Discovery Park residential complex
Style: minimalism
The interior was created at the request of the customer, who voiced the wish to use Patagonia stone as a must – and details from this material eventually became the key interior accents of the apartment.
The apartment in the Discovery Park residential complex consists of 5 rooms – an entrance hall-kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom.
The main element of the hallway was a mirror cabinet, as if “floating” in the air, and under it a step was created for daily shoes, heated from a warm floor.
The dominant role of the kitchen area is a “floating” work surface with a slight extension to the hallway. This extension performs a special function – it is convenient to put keys, a phone or other little things on it for a couple of minutes, which is often necessary in the hallway.
In the living room, a large modular sofa has become a central element, and a natural wood wall panel with mirror inserts plays the role of functional decor.
The feature of the bedroom is a unique designer headboard, which not only provides comfort, but also serves as a stylish interior accessory.
The dressing room is combined with the bedroom, and a reception with columns made of different materials was used for zoning. One of the columns is mirrored, thanks to which the room visually expands.
The conceptual meaning of the bathroom was a wall made of Patagonia stone. In the bath area there is a shower system and a rack with shelves made of artificial stone.
Type: 2-room apartment

Area: 50 sq.m

The apartment in the Discovery Park residential complex has a regular shape, which is a great advantage for modern minimalist interiors. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve the perfect combination of functionality and visual lightness – and this is a rather difficult task when it comes to “brutal” male interiors.
Panoramic glazing will give the apartment a special chic and provide the optimal amount of natural light. And to create the necessary visual effects and zoning, a spectacular lighting system with several scenarios has been created here.
With the help of doors to the entire height of the room and flush-mounted skirting boards, it was possible to raise the ceilings as much as possible – due to this, the room looks even more spacious and harmonious, there is not a single extra detail in it.
To optimize the space of the bathroom, it was decided to move the laundry area to the hallway in the built-in wardrobe. This idea turned out to be very successful, the closet simply “dissolved” into the wall – while all the rooms became more functional.
